Learn to Facilitate Group Sound Experiences with Confidence, Intention & Your Own Voice

Wild Ginger Apothecary | Sarasota, Florida

There is a big difference between knowing how to play sound healing instruments and knowing how to facilitate a room full of people.

Sound baths are not simply about beautiful instruments or deciding what to play next.

They are about presence. Awareness. Pacing. Listening. Understanding how sound moves through a space and how the people within that space are responding.

You are one of the most important instruments in the room.

The Sound Healing for Groups Certification was created to help you develop the knowledge, hands-on experience, structure, and confidence to begin facilitating group sound experiences in a way that feels grounded, intentional, ethical, and authentically yours.

This Training Is for You If...

You feel called to share sound with others but aren't quite sure how to put everything together.

You may be:

  • New to sound healing and ready to build a strong foundation

  • A developing sound practitioner who wants more confidence facilitating groups

  • A yoga or meditation teacher

  • A breathwork, movement, or somatic facilitator

  • A massage therapist or bodyworker

  • A coach, therapist, or energy practitioner

  • A wellness professional who wants to incorporate sound into your existing work

  • Someone who simply feels deeply drawn to sound and wants to learn how to share it responsibly.

You do not need to own every instrument, you do not need to already be leading sound baths, and you definitely do not need to have everything figured out before you arrive.

Come ready to learn, explore, listen, practice, and discover your own relationship with this work.

This Is Not a Sit-and-Listen-All-Weekend Training

You will absolutely learn the foundations and theory behind sound healing. But then we are going to use it.

You will work with instruments.

You will listen.

You will experiment.

You will practice transitions and layering.

You will explore what feels harmonious and what doesn't.

You will experience what changes when rhythm, volume, pacing, silence, or your own presence changes.

Because you cannot learn how to facilitate sound entirely from a manual. At some point, you have to pick up the instrument and begin.

What You Will Learn

During this two-day training, we will explore:

Sound Healing Foundations

  • Sound, vibration, frequency, resonance, and entrainment

  • How sound interacts with the body, mind, emotions, and nervous system

  • Rhythm, harmony, dissonance, silence, and timbre

  • The role of intention and awareness in sound work

  •

Group Sound Facilitation

  • How to structure a sound bath from beginning to end

  • Creating a grounded and welcoming environment

  • Opening and closing a group experience

  • Language, pacing, transitions, and flow

  • Reading the room and learning when to adjust

  • Supporting choice, consent, and participant autonomy

  • Working with different needs within a group

  • Neurodivergent considerations in sound spaces

  • Grounding yourself before, during, and after facilitating

  •

Instruments & Sound Exploration

We will work with and explore instruments including:

  • Crystal singing bowls

  • Himalayan singing bowls

  • Drums

  • Chimes

  • Gongs

  • Wind, water, and nature-inspired instruments

  • Additional sound healing instruments and textures

You will learn how to choose, combine, layer, and transition between instruments rather than simply memorizing a sequence.

Developing Your Own Style

There is no single perfect sound bath.

This training is not designed to turn you into a copy of your teacher.

You will learn the foundations and principles behind creating an intentional experience so you can begin discovering your own voice as a facilitator.

Ethics & Business Basics

We will also explore the practical side of offering this work, including:

  • Scope of practice

  • Ethical considerations

  • Waivers and participant communication

  • Pricing

  • Studio partnerships

  • Private and community events

  • Talking about your work clearly and responsibly

  • Beginning to build your own sound healing offerings

What Can You Do After Certification?

After completing your training, you will have the foundational education and practical tools to begin developing and facilitating your own group sound experiences.

You may choose to offer:

  • Sound baths

  • Wellness studio events

  • Yoga + sound experiences

  • Meditation + sound experiences

  • Retreat experiences

  • Private group sessions

  • Community events

  • Corporate or workplace wellness

  • Collaborations with other wellness practitioners

  • Sound experiences incorporated into your existing practice

Your certification is not the end of your learning, it is the beginning of actually using it.

From the Classroom to the Real World

Practice at The Studio at Wild Ginger

One of the biggest challenges after completing a training isn't knowing what to do, it's getting up the nerve to actually do it. Standing in front of your first group can feel very different from practicing in class.

That's why students who complete the Sound Healing for Groups Certification will have opportunities to use 'The Studio at Wild Ginger Apothecary' to begin facilitating low-pressure sound experiences for friends, family, and the public.

This gives you a place to:

  • Work through first-session nerves

  • Practice setting up your room and instruments

  • Get comfortable welcoming participants

  • Practice opening and closing your sessions

  • Work with timing, pacing, transitions, and flow

  • Develop confidence speaking in front of a group

  • Experiment with your own facilitation style

  • Gain real-world experience before stepping fully into your own practice

And you won't be thrown into the deep end alone. Becky will be there to help support you as you begin putting what you learned into practice.

Think of The Studio as the bridge between:

“I finished my training.”

and

“I actually do this.”

Meet Your Instructor

Becky Moriarty

Becky Moriarty is an experienced practitioner and instructor of sound and vibrational therapies, tuning fork practices, mindfulness, embodiment, and integrative wellness.

She began exploring sound healing in 2015, and sound has since become one of the central threads running through both her personal practice and professional work.

Her background spans more than two decades in wellness, including many years as a licensed massage therapist, along with experience in energy work, mindfulness, meditation, somatic practices, movement, coaching, and sound-based practices.

Today, Becky teaches sound healing and tuning fork certification programs, facilitates group and individual sound experiences, and helps students understand both the practical and experiential sides of working with sound.

Her teaching blends education with exploration, science with lived experience, structure with intuition, and technique  with one principle that sits at the heart of her work:

You are the most important instrument you will ever work with.

Becky's goal isn't to teach students to recreate her sound baths. Her goal is to give them the education, experience, awareness, and confidence to begin creating their own.

You Don't Have to Feel Ready Before You Begin

Most people don't.

Confidence usually doesn't arrive before the experience, it grows because of it.

If you feel called to work with sound, this training gives you a place to learn the foundations, ask questions, experiment, practice, make mistakes, find your rhythm, and begin discovering what kind of facilitator you want to become.
