Hi, I’m Becky Moriarty and I’m an Energy + Embodiment Coach, Sound Therapies Practitioner, Somatecstatic Movement Facilitator, and a Sound + Tuning Fork Therapies Instructor based in Sarasota, Florida.

For much of my life, I have been exploring what helps us feel more connected, grounded, supported, and fully ourselves.

My work has grown through decades of personal experience, professional training, curiosity, and a deep belief that meaningful change begins when we learn how to understand and listen to ourselves.

My Approach

I bring together mindfulness, somatic awareness, sound, frequency, movement, nervous system education, coaching, and community.

Some of my work is quiet and restorative.
Some is educational.
Some invites movement, sound, reflection, experimentation, or deeper conversation.

But everything I offer is rooted in the same intention:

To help you help yourself.

I am not here to hand you every answer or tell you who you should become.
I am here to create supportive spaces where you can slow down, recognize patterns, reconnect with your body, explore practical tools, and build greater trust in your own needs, choices, and inner signals.

I believe the body is part of the conversation, experience is part of the learning, and personal growth should feel empowering rather than dependent.

The Way I Teach

My teaching style is hands-on, experiential, practical, and deeply human.

I believe people learn best when they are given strong foundations and then invited to explore, practice, notice, and develop their own understanding.

This is especially important in my sound and frequency certification trainings.

Students learn the science, techniques, safety, ethics, and structure of the work, but they also learn how to listen.
To the instruments.
To the person in front of them.
To the changes happening within a session.
To their training, intuition, and growing discernment.
Because the instruments matter, but presence matters most.

You are the most important instrument.

The Journey That Brought Me Here

Before creating Sukha Sound & Wellness, I spent many years working closely with people through massage therapy, skincare, wellness, mindfulness, movement, and sound.
That body-centered background continues to shape the way I teach and support others today.

My own path has included seasons of change, reinvention, uncertainty, growth, loss, and beginning again. I know that personal transformation is rarely a neat, straight line.
Sometimes it begins with a bold decision.
Sometimes it begins with curiosity.
Sometimes it begins with one quiet moment when we realize we are ready to listen differently.

What Sukha Is Becoming

Sukha continues to grow alongside me.
Today, it includes sound baths, workshops, certification trainings, group coaching, experiential learning, and community.

The larger vision is to create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, learn practical tools for real life, experience the power of sound and embodiment, and feel supported as they grow.

Costa Rica holds a special place in my heart and in the future vision for Sukha. The beaches, jungle, wildlife, and natural rhythm of life there reflect so much of what I hope this work offers: room to breathe, reconnect, listen, and return to what matters.
One day, I hope that vision grows into a retreat space of its own.

For now, I am building it one class, one gathering, one student, and one meaningful experience at a time.

A Little More About Me

Outside of my work, I love nature, animals, movement, music, deep conversations, and dreaming about what is possible.

I have an especially tender place in my heart for rescue dogs and the older animals who deserve to be deeply loved through every season of their lives.

I am both grounded and spiritual, serious about the work and always willing to laugh, and endlessly fascinated by the ways sound, the body, community, and human connection can change how we experience our lives.

Welcome to Sukha

Whether you are here to rest, learn, grow, reconnect, explore sound, join a coaching community, or become a practitioner, you are welcome.
Come as you are.
Notice what speaks to you.
Begin there.

With warmth,
Becky Moriarty
